Wildwood BTS

Wildwood BTS

We recently shot our newest collection Wildwood at a breath-taking desert ranch in sunny Tucson, Arizona. As with everything we do at TAMGA, planning this shoot involved considering its environmental impact. While we can't claim perfection, we're proud to say that it was our most eco-friendly campaign to date! Keep reading to see what steps we took to reduce our environmental footprint.

Carbon Offsetting

Our team traveled from Norway and various parts of Arizona to shoot Wildwood - combined everyone's travel added up to 1,529 km of driving and 18,115 km of flying. To neutralize the carbon emissions of all this travel, we purchased nearly 2 metric tons of carbon offsets from the Gold Standard. If the Gold Standard sounds familiar to you - that's because we also use them to offset all TAMGA orders and have your purchase shipped carbon neutral to your doorstep.

No Plastic

Saying 'No' to plastic was easy on our shoot! The wonderful staff at the ranch filled up a giant water cooler (it was hot) and the team all brought re-usable water bottles and travel cups for coffee refills. Lunch was served at the ranch (no single-use plastic) and fruits/snacks were provided with no plastic wrapping.

Thrifted Accessories

Nearly all the accessories, jewelry, shoes and props used to style each Wildwood look were thrifted or pre-owned by our Creative Director Yana! You might recognize some of the pieces from previous shoots ;)
